Jennifer “Jenny” R. Joeckel

A native of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Jennifer “Jenny” R. Joeckel attended The University of North Carolina at Wilmington for her bachelor’s degree in business marketing. Her strong background in business gives Mrs. Joeckel the edge she needs to positively project her legal services to the immediate community and client base while gaining exposure for her real estate practice and the firm as a whole. During her time at the Cameron School of Business, she was on the dean’s list and chancellor’s list for her academic achievement. She served as director of community service for her sorority, Alpha Phi, and as a marketing coordinator for her business fraternity, Pi Sigma Epsilon.

After completing her degree, Mrs. Joeckel enrolled in the Elon University School of Law. In 2011, she began working as a summer associate for attorney Jeffrey A. Jones and realized that real estate was her calling. She completed law school in 2012 and joined Bagwell Holt Smith P.A. to handle closings in the Morrisville office. She chose real estate because she is able to work closely with her clients and assist them through one of the most important purchases of their lives. Mrs. Joeckel believes it is important to have an attorney advocate for your financial and legal standpoint during a home purchase and she always pursues her client’s best interests as they buy, sell or refinance their home.

When she is away from the firm, Mrs. Joeckel spends time with her husband, Blake, in their Raleigh home. They attend local concerts and festivals with their 250-pound English Mastiff, Bambino, in tow. She enjoys playing tennis at their neighborhood park and flag football in a RDU coed league. Mrs. Joeckel also devotes her time to reading and cooking, which are strong passions of hers. She is a member of several local business organizations, including She’s Connected and a local Business Networking International Chapter in Brier Creek.
