Alex Collette

Originally from Kernersville, North Carolina, Alex Collette graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2014 with a degree in Economics. Deciding to pursue a career in law, Mr. Collette went on to become a double Tar Heel, graduating from the UNC School of Law and receiving his Juris Doctor in 2018. While in law school, he served as a staff member of the North Carolina Law Review and a student representative for the North Carolina Bar Association’s Sports and Entertainment Law Section. In addition, he enjoyed working in the UNC School of Law Immigration Clinic, helping victims of domestic violence and other forms of persecution to apply for legal status in the United States.

Upon graduation, Mr. Collette was appreciative of the opportunity to join Bagwell Holt Smith P.A. and to be able to practice law as part of a tight-knit group of attorneys and legal staff in a town that he knows and loves. Working out of the firm’s Southern Village office, Mr. Collette focuses largely on residential and commercial real estate transactions. More than anything else, he enjoys the relationships he develops with clients while helping them achieve their goals.

Outside of the office, Mr. Collette loves watching Tar Heel sports, spending time with family and friends, and hanging out with his beautiful wife, Kathleen.
