We are expanding!

Bagwell Holt Smith P.A. has announced the opening of their fifth location this week, an expansion that will now cross state lines into South Carolina. Bagwell Holt Smith handles real estate, family law, personal injury, civil litigation, estate planning and more. Founded in 1984, Bagwell Holt Smith has grown significantly over the past 30 years. With two locations in Chapel Hill, one location in Morrisville, and one in Greensboro, Bagwell Holt Smith assists clients with their legal needs across a wide stretch of North Carolina. Since January of 2012, Bagwell Holt Smith has represented clients throughout South Carolina, yet lacked a dedicated office to better serve those clients. There is a great deal of excitement over this development, which is sure to positively impact current and future clients.

The new office is located in Greenville, SC, and will be managed by attorney Michael Ganley, who focuses his practice in real estate and planned community law. Deciding on Greenville for the location was an easy decision, as it is home to many current clients and is a quick commute to Charlotte, NC and Columbia, SC. Mr. Ganley has been licensed in South Carolina since April 2011 and since that date has been assisting his South Carolina clients out of the firm’s North Carolina offices. Of the new office, Mr. Ganley stated, “It is exciting to finally be able to establish a physical presence in South Carolina. This expansion will allow Bagwell Holt Smith to further expand its footprint in the Southeast, while also providing the same sort of personal, client-focused legal services that our clients have grown to trust and appreciate.” He will handle commercial real estate and planned community law out of the Greenville location, while giving clients the convenience of a local office.
